This Privacy Policy explains what information Hold Me Time Capsule may collect, how that information is used, when it may be visible to other users or service providers, how we protect it, and the choices available to you. By accessing or using Hold Me Time Capsule, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. 1. Information We Collect Depending on the features you use, we may collect or process the following information: Account Information Name Email address Google profile photo Unique User ID generated for your Hold Me account Profile information you choose to provide, such as city and bio Account status and related account-management information Capsule Content When you create or receive a time capsule, we may process: Capsule title Description Text content Cover image Photos Videos Audio or voice recordings PDF documents Capsule type Unlock date and time Time-zone information necessary to correctly process scheduled unlocks Reminder preferences Capsule recipient and delivery information Capsule status and related metadata Social and Community Information When you use community features, we may process information relating to: Public capsule views Likes Comments and replies Followers and following Follow requests Public profile interactions Discover People activity Public capsules associated with user profiles Chat Information Hold Me Time Capsule includes user-to-user messaging for eligible users. Depending on the messaging features used, we may store and process: Text messages Emoji messages Built-in sticker messages GIF messages Built-in mood images or mood media Locked or scheduled messages Message unlock date and time Lock status and related locked-message metadata Sender and recipient information Conversation information Message timestamps Delivery and read status Edited or deleted message status Locked messages may be sent immediately while their message content remains unavailable to the recipient through normal application functionality until the unlock date and time selected by the sender. Information necessary to display the locked-message status and process the scheduled unlock may be stored on our systems. Built-in mood images, GIFs, stickers and similar messaging content may be provided through the application for use in conversations. User-to-user chat does not provide general-purpose uploading of arbitrary personal images, videos, audio recordings or documents from the user's device unless such functionality is expressly made available within the application. Reports, Blocks and Safety Information If you use safety or moderation features, we may process: Users you block or unblock Reports submitted about users, messages, comments or capsules Report reasons Notes provided with reports Relevant reported content Moderation status Administrative actions taken in response to reports Block and unblock history where required for safety, abuse prevention and moderation Support Information When you contact Ishu Studio through in-app support or email, we may process: Your account information Support messages Images or information voluntarily submitted as part of a support request Conversation status Information necessary to investigate and respond to your request Technical Information We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure and maintain the service, including: Firebase Cloud Messaging token Device and application information Technical request information Security and diagnostic information Timestamps and other operational metadata We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, moderate and improve Hold Me Time Capsule. 2. Google Sign-In Hold Me Time Capsule uses Google Sign-In for account authentication. When you sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information made available through the authentication process, such as your: Name Email address Profile picture Hold Me Time Capsule does not receive or store your Google Account password. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices. 3. How We Use Your Information We may use information collected through Hold Me Time Capsule to: Create and maintain your account Authenticate users Create, store, deliver and unlock time capsules Deliver shared capsules to intended recipients Display approved public content Provide user profiles and discovery features Process follows and follow requests Enable eligible user-to-user conversations Deliver and maintain chat messages Process locked messages and scheduled message unlocks Provide built-in GIF, sticker, emoji and mood messaging features Process likes, comments, replies and views Send capsule reminders and other notifications Send chat-related notifications Operate QR Connect features Provide access to application tutorials and help resources Provide customer support Process reports and blocks Moderate user-generated content Investigate abuse, fraud and security incidents Enforce our Terms and community rules Process account and data deletion requests Maintain service reliability and security Comply with applicable legal obligations We do not use your Google Account password because we never receive it. 4. Time Capsules Hold Me Time Capsule provides Personal, Shared and Public Capsules. Personal Capsules Personal Capsules are associated with the creator's account and are intended for the account owner. A capsule may be created with a scheduled locked period or, where the application provides the option, created in an immediately accessible/unlocked state. Locked capsules are intended to remain inaccessible through normal application functionality until their configured unlock time. Shared Capsules Shared Capsules allow content to be shared with selected eligible Hold Me users. Recipient and delivery information may be processed to ensure that the capsule reaches the intended account and to maintain delivery/opening status. Shared capsule content is not intended to be publicly displayed merely because it has been shared with another user. Public Capsules Public Capsules are user-generated content intended for public visibility. Public Capsules may be subject to administrative review and moderation before appearing in publicly accessible areas of Hold Me Time Capsule. Submission of a Public Capsule does not guarantee publication. Content may be approved, rejected, restricted or removed in accordance with our policies. 5. Public Profiles and Discover People Hold Me Time Capsule provides social discovery and profile functionality. Depending on your activity and the application feature involved, other Hold Me users may be able to see information such as: Your name Profile photo City Bio Publicly available profile statistics Followers and following information Eligible public capsules Relevant follow or interaction status Do not include sensitive personal information in profile fields or publicly visible content unless you are comfortable making that information available to other users. 6. Followers and User Connections Users may follow other users, receive follow requests and manage their connections. Certain features, including user-to-user chat, may depend on the relationship or connection status between users. Follow relationships and related status information may be stored to operate these features. 7. User-to-User Chat Hold Me Time Capsule provides direct user-to-user messaging where applicable eligibility requirements are met. Messages and associated metadata may be stored on our systems so that conversations can be delivered, synchronized and displayed. Depending on available application features, users may communicate using text, emojis, built-in stickers, GIFs and built-in mood images or media. Hold Me Time Capsule may also allow a sender to apply a time lock to a message. A locked message may be delivered to the recipient's conversation immediately while the message content remains unavailable through normal application functionality until the sender-selected unlock time. The recipient may be informed that a locked or surprise message has been received and when it is scheduled to unlock. The sender may continue to see information associated with a message they sent, including applicable lock status and unlock information. Message lock status, unlock date and time, delivery information and other necessary metadata may be processed to operate this functionality. Users should not use chat to share illegal, abusive, threatening, sexually exploitative, fraudulent or otherwise prohibited material. Users may have access to blocking and reporting tools to help manage unwanted interactions. For safety and moderation purposes, reported conversations or messages may be reviewed by authorized administrators when reasonably necessary to investigate a report, enforce our policies, prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations. 8. QR Connect and Shared Connection Links Hold Me Time Capsule may provide QR codes or connection links that allow users to connect with another Hold Me user. These features are designed to establish an in-app connection without requiring users to publicly expose their personal email address or phone number through the connection card itself. When a QR code or connection link is used, we may process: Connection identifiers or tokens Accounts participating in the connection Connection status Relevant timestamps and technical information Users should share their QR codes or connection links only with people with whom they intend to connect. 9. Media Uploads Users may upload supported media for capsule functionality, including: Images Videos Audio or voice recordings PDF documents Uploaded content may be compressed or optimized before or during processing to reduce file size and improve application performance. Media is processed for providing capsule functionality, storage, delivery, moderation, security and other purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload and share the content they submit. 10. Permissions Depending on the features you choose to use, Hold Me Time Capsule may request Android permissions such as: Camera Photos or media Microphone File or storage access, where applicable Notifications Permissions are requested only when needed for relevant functionality. The exact permission presented to you may vary depending on your Android version and device. You can manage application permissions through your device settings. 11. Push Notifications Hold Me Time Capsule uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to provide notifications. Notifications may include: Capsule reminders Capsule unlock information Shared capsule activity Follow requests Follow-related activity Likes Comments and replies Chat messages and chat-related activity Locked-message activity Support updates Account or moderation-related information Important application announcements A device notification token may be processed to deliver these notifications. You may disable notification permission through your device settings, although doing so may prevent you from receiving important application notifications. 12. User-Generated Content Hold Me Time Capsule contains user-generated content, including capsules, profile information, comments, replies and chat messages. Users are responsible for content they create, upload, send or otherwise submit. Users must not submit content involving or promoting: Child sexual abuse or exploitation Illegal sexual content Sexually explicit prohibited content Hate speech or hateful conduct Threats, harassment or bullying Terrorism or violent extremism Illegal activities Scams, fraud or deceptive behavior Malicious content Unauthorized disclosure of another person's private information Intellectual-property or copyright infringement Content that violates applicable law Other content prohibited by our Terms, policies or Google Play requirements Google Play requires apps containing UGC to implement appropriate moderation and, depending on the functionality, in-app reporting and blocking capabilities. Hold Me provides reporting, blocking and administrative moderation mechanisms for relevant user interactions. 13. Reporting, Blocking and Moderation Users may be able to report: Other users Messages Comments Capsules Users may also block other users where supported. Blocking may restrict interactions between the affected users, including messaging functionality. Reports may include a selected reason, optional explanation and information necessary to identify the reported content. Authorized administrators may review reports and relevant content and may take actions including: Dismissing or resolving reports Restricting interactions Removing or rejecting content Blocking accounts Restoring accounts or access where appropriate Taking other reasonable safety or moderation measures Serious or repeated violations may result in account restrictions or permanent account blocking. 14. Administrative Account Restrictions and Appeals Ishu Studio may restrict or block accounts that violate our Terms, community standards, safety requirements or applicable laws. Where supported by the application, an affected user may submit an appeal or contact support regarding an administrative account restriction. Appeal information may be stored and reviewed for the purpose of resolving the request and maintaining moderation records. 15. Advertising Hold Me Time Capsule may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Advertising services may process device identifiers, advertising-related information, approximate technical information or other data in accordance with their own policies and the user's device/account settings. The exact data processed by advertising SDKs may depend on application configuration, device settings, consent requirements and applicable law. Ishu Studio does not control Google's independent processing of information through its advertising services. 16. Service Providers We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate Hold Me Time Capsule, including services for: Authentication Push notifications Advertising Hosting and server infrastructure Email delivery Application distribution and related platform functionality Video tutorials and external help content These providers may process limited information as necessary to provide their services. We do not sell users' personal information. 17. How-to Videos and External Video Content Hold Me Time Capsule may provide how-to videos and tutorials to help users understand application features. Tutorials may be made available in multiple languages, including Hindi and English. The application may display separate tutorial options or titles for supported languages. When a user selects a tutorial, the video may open through YouTube or the official Hold Me Time Capsule YouTube channel. YouTube and Google are third-party services. When you access or watch content through those services, their own terms, privacy practices, account settings, cookies, identifiers and data-processing practices may apply. Ishu Studio does not control Google's or YouTube's independent processing of information when you use their services. 18. Data Visibility and Sharing Information is shared or made visible only as necessary for application functionality, according to the type of feature being used. For example: Public profile information and approved public content may be visible to other users. Shared Capsules are made available to intended recipients. Chat messages are made available to conversation participants, subject to applicable locked-message functionality. Reports and relevant reported information may be accessible to authorized administrators. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the application. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our rights, investigate fraud or abuse, protect users, or respond to lawful requests. 19. Data Retention We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed. When an account or associated data is deleted, certain limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for purposes such as: Legal compliance Fraud prevention Security Abuse prevention Dispute resolution Enforcement of our Terms Where retention is necessary, we seek to limit retained information to what is reasonably required for that purpose. 20. Account and Data Deletion Users can request deletion of their Hold Me account from within the application. An external account deletion resource is also available: Hold Me Time Capsule Account Deletion Account deletion requests include deletion of associated user data subject to limited retention where legitimately required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or similar lawful purposes. Google Play requires apps that permit account creation to provide both an in-app account deletion path and an external web resource, and account deletion must include associated user data rather than merely disabling the account. Where available, users may also request deletion of applicable data through the application's data-deletion functionality. 21. Data Security We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. Security measures may include authentication controls, access restrictions, server-side authorization, moderation controls and other technical safeguards. However, no application, network, storage system or Internet transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting access to their Google account, device and other credentials used to access Hold Me Time Capsule. 22. Children's Privacy Hold Me Time Capsule is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to use the service under applicable law and our applicable age requirements. Users who are not permitted to use the service because of their age should not create an account or use the application's social or communication features. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected contrary to applicable requirements, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and remove the information where required. 23. Your Choices and Controls Depending on the feature, Hold Me Time Capsule provides controls that may allow you to: Manage profile information Manage follows and follow requests Block or unblock users Report users or content Manage application permissions Disable notifications through device settings Delete eligible content Request deletion of your data Request deletion of your account Contact support Submit an appeal where available 24. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when our application, legal obligations, service providers or privacy practices change. When we make changes, the revised policy will display an updated Last Updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application or other appropriate means where required.
